Bat and Butterfly framed art

This piece started off as just a regular boring old bat in a plain wood frame. I knew I could add real magic to it. First thing I did was change the eyes to evil eyes for protection against evil spirits. I then added a blue evil eye on its chest as its 3rd all seeing eye.

Bats often represent death in the sense of letting go of the old, and bringing in the new. They are symbols of transition, of initiation, and the start of a new beginning.

 The butterfly is a called a  "Common Jay " (Graphium doson) and has the most beautiful pale blue wings. Blue is the color of peacefulness and tranquility. In fact, blue butterflies are symbols for serenity and calm in many cultures. 

Blue butterflies are also often considered a symbol of love. Blue is one of the fresh colors. Due to their colors, blue butterflies send us a vibration of joy and happiness. Looking at them or can calm us down or help us meditate.
